ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide menus. Offer recommendations and answer questions about the menu, beverages, and daily specials. |
Accurately take guest orders and relay them to the kitchen staff. Ensure special dietary needs and preferences are communicated clearly. |
Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously. Monitor guests’ dining experience to ensure they are satisfied with their meal and service. |
Set up and clear tables efficiently. Refill beverages, replace utensils, and address guest needs as they arise |
Present checks to guests, process payments, and return change or receipts accurately. Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely. |
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tables, service stations, and dining areas. Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines. |
Work closely with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth operations. Assist team members as needed, including in high-volume situations. |
Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly. Escalate issues to management when necessary. |
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL ABILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE & Skills:
Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. |
Ability to greet & treat customers professionally. |
Ability to properly count cash and change. |
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. |
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. |
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. |
